Description

Decodes PostgreSQL bytea text in hex or legacy escaped-octal format.

Parameters

rawServer text, or null for SQL NULL.
Returns

Exact binary bytes; empty bytea is distinct from null.

Throws
  • SQLException For a malformed hex pair or escape sequence.
