Publishes a bounded portion of background results on the calling thread. The GUI timer normally calls this automatically. Call it from the GUI thread only, or manually for a chart used without a running window loop. Returns true while work or queued results remain; never waits for disk I/O. Example: while chart.pollLoading(): Thread.sleep(20) (headless usage).
