method
public appendChild(newChild as Node) as Node throws DOMException
Description

Appends a node or transfers all children of a document fragment in order.

Parameters
ParameterDescription
newChildNode or fragment to append.
Returns

The supplied node; a transferred fragment is left empty.

Throws
  • DOMException if hierarchy or ownership rules would be violated. No source or destination tree is changed when validation fails.
