method
public static native getTypeByName(name as String) as Type
Description

Resolves a type by name using the runtime facilities.

The lookup uses the same class path order as forName.

Parameters
ParameterDescription
nameClass name to resolve.
Returns

Metadata of the loaded class.

Throws
  • ClassNotFoundException if the name is empty, ambiguous, or cannot be resolved and loaded.
