Description

Starts the executable with separate arguments and an optional directory. Relative executable paths are resolved from the supplied working directory.

Parameters
ParameterDescription
commandLineExecutable followed by arguments; no shell expansion.
cwdWorking directory; empty inherits the current directory.
Throws
  • ValueException for an empty command or embedded U+0000 arguments.
  • IOException if pipes, the executable or the directory cannot be opened.
