ThreadPriority

public enum ThreadPriority
ThreadPriority

Names of the native scheduling priorities accepted by Thread.priority.

Linux maps levels to nice adjustments relative to the inherited level; Windows maps them to native thread priorities. The OS may reject a request, especially an elevated Linux priority. No execution order is guaranteed.

Example
import klyn.threading
worker = Thread(lambda(): print("background"))
worker.priority = ThreadPriority.LOW.name
worker.start()
worker.join()
